Refund policy

Firstly, thank you for your support and for purchasing Raven Millinery. We hope that you will be delighted with your purchase. If, for any reason, the product you purchased does not meet your expectations, we are happy to offer an exchange or refund where possible.

We regret that we are unable to offer refunds on products that have been made-to-order, bespoke or customised. This policy does not affect your statutory rights. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

To be eligible for a return, the following requirements will need to be met:

  • A returns note is requested from us within 7 days of receipt, and the items are returned to Raven Millinery within 14 days.
  • All returns must be in the same condition that you received them, unworn or unused, with tags, and in their original packaging. Please note we take a photo of proof before items are sent.
  • You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
  • Items returned to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
  • The cost of returning items is the responsibility of you, the purchaser, unless the item is faulty in which case a full refund will be issued, including the initial and return postage costs.
  • If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package.
  •  If you are shipping an item over £50, we strongly recommend you use a trackable shipping service or purchase shipping insurance, as we take no responsibility for the loss or damage of returned items in transit.
  • We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved or not.
  • If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. This refund will include the full value of the items returned, excluding shipping costs and any taxes or import duties incurred. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at info@ravenmillinery.com.

Return Address

To start a return, you can contact us at info@ravenmillinery.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: Raven Millinery, 72 Burneside Road, Kendal, Cumbria. LA9 4RT. We will email you on receipt of the goods to confirm your return will be processed.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective or damaged or if you received the wrong item so we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please note we take photos/videos to prove the quality of the items before sending them.

Design and colour variations:

All Raven hats are completely handmade in our Lake District studio. The nature of this means orders may vary slightly, bringing individuality and a unique charm to each piece.

Natural materials such as feathers will almost always differ slightly from the sample. Such variations are not faults and will not entitle customers to a refund or exchange unless the variation significantly affects the style or quality of the hat.

Colours are represented as close as possible on our online store. Please keep in mind colours may vary on computer screens. If you are unsure of a colour matching your outfit, please contact us for more information before you purchase.
